Bildung bedeutet, neue Perspektiven einzunehmen und Lebenswelten kennenzulernen, die oft im Schatten gesellschaftlicher Vorurteile stehen.
Unsere Reihe „Alltagsgeschichten“ lädt Sie ein, Berufe und Arbeitsfelder näher zu entdecken, die selten öffentlich sichtbar sind – und doch von zentraler Bedeutung für viele Menschen.
Diesmal widmen wir uns einem Arbeitsfeld, das polarisiert und gleichzeitig von großer Nähe und Professionalität geprägt ist: Sexarbeit und Sexualbegleitung.
Unsere Gäste Elke Welser von der Caritas-Beratungsstelle für Sexarbeiterinnen und Astrid, Vertreterin der Berufsgruppe Sexualbegleitung, geben Einblick in ihren vielseitigen Berufsalltag – zwischen Beratung, Selbstbestimmung, gesellschaftlichen Herausforderungen und erfüllenden menschlichen Begegnungen.
Erfahren Sie, wie die beiden Expertinnen Menschen unterstützen, begleiten und gleichzeitig für Rechte, Sicherheit und Würde in ihrem Berufsfeld einstehen.
Bei einem kleinen Imbiss und einem Glas Wein gestalten wir gemeinsam einen Abend, der informiert, berührt, aufklärt – und Raum für Fragen lässt.
Das Gespräch wird aufgezeichnet und kann später auch als Podcast nachgehört werden.

- Geschichten und Erfahrungen aus der Sexarbeit und Sexualbegleitung – ehrlich, vielfältig und oft überraschend
- Selbstbestimmung, Schutz und Rechte: Was Sexarbeiter:innen wirklich brauchen
- Nähe, Grenzen und professionelle Beziehungsgestaltung in diesem besonderen Arbeitsbereich
- Umgang mit gesellschaftlichen Tabus, Vorurteilen und Stigmatisierung
- Wie Beratung und Netzwerke Sicherheit, Gesundheit und Empowerment fördern
- Sexualität als menschliches Grundbedürfnis – und was es bedeutet, Unterstützung zu bieten
- Was wir aus diesen Berufswelten über Respekt, Vielfalt und Menschlichkeit lernen können

Course Participants
You can register for all events by phone, in writing, by email, or in person. Each registration is binding and will be recorded as a reservation.
Certificate of Participation
You will receive your written certificate of participation immediately after the course. Please note that 75% attendance is required for this.
Cancellation Conditions
Please note the cancellation conditions for courses and seminars:
- Free up to 1 week before the start of the event
- 7-2 days before the start of the event 50%
- On the day before and on the day of the event 100% of the course fee.
Reservation of Changes
Our event program is planned long-term. Organizationally necessary deviations between the announcement and execution or changes (even short-term) serving quality improvement regarding event content, days, and dates as well as speakers do not entitle participants to claim damages.
Prices
We calculate our prices tightly. Therefore, please expect a price adjustment at the turn of the year. The course fee will be charged approximately two weeks before the start of the seminar. Material costs will be collected in cash directly by the lecturers.
Consent to Data Processing
By registering for an event, consent is given for the automated processing of data. Furthermore, participants agree that name and contact details will be transmitted to persons entrusted with the administration of the event and to facilitate communication with the organization of the event. In principle, all personal information is treated strictly confidentially and not passed on to third parties.
Liability
The Bildungshaus Sankt Magdalena assumes no liability for theft or damage to items brought by customers or visitors into rooms, seminar rooms, and publicly accessible areas. It is not permitted to attach or set up decorative material or other technical items in the premises without consent. If the Bildungshaus Sankt Magdalena incurs damages as a result, the customer, regardless of who carried out these works, must compensate for this damage.
General
If individual provisions of the agreement become ineffective, the effectiveness of the remaining agreement is not affected.
